In a shocking turn of events the founder and head research scientist of TerraNueva Inc, Doctor Robert Halsey, has been found murdered along with his entire staff at the Earth research site known only as Eden Prime. Dr. Halsey was a pioneer in terraforming technologies, and once stated that he could make Earth habitable again, and after that, Mars.
Halsey had often run afoul with scavengers as well as corporations, having often intruded on their holdings to continue his research. TerraNueva will have its remaining assets liquidated to reimburse creditors.
Halsey is not known to have any next of kin.
Stock prices for Ferrera Motors are expected to rise in price dramatically after Giovanni Ferrera himself held a press release announcing his new Skimmer, the Zephyr. 'A high-end luxury car sure to meet and exceed the needs of the discerning driver', Ferrera announced proudly. A waitlist has already formed for this newest addition to his line.
In other news, conflict is heating up between the organizations of LunaCom, the Lunite Telecommunications carrier, and SecureCom, the company set to replace LunaCom as the primary communications service of Luna. Both organizations are already in litigation, over an unknown issue. Neither company could be reached for comment.
