Jadubai-based Biotechnology corporation Nuskha came out with a new model intended to contend with others on the Replicant market, boasting a closely-guarded method for incubation that they claim provides their replicants with more resilience against trauma and gunfire alike. Marketed towards both security corporations and executives alike for their plausibility as both expendable units and body doubles, the first produced prototype of the Tayf (طيف, lit. Ghost) line of replicants was meant to be brought to a convention for display and demonstration of the prototype's full range of features.
This, however, was not what happened: According to an anonymous source, the cryo-pod it was meant to be taken to the stage in was found empty with foul play suspected. On-record, a representative of Nuskha said the following,
"There is no worry, we have simply transported the wrong pod. In the event that the prototype were lost or stolen, our state-of-the-art tracking technology would simply pinpoint its location with a synaptic trigger."

There are rumors regarding what truly happened, and sources claim that the corporation may be offering a bounty for finding the Replicant -- Activated or otherwise.
